Hele Strong

Sports Performance

Individual sports specific strength and conditioning is becoming increasingly popular, and for good reason. An athlete with the proper strength and mobility not only gives them a step up on the competition but is a key factor in preventing injury. Additionally, not all sports tap into the same metabolic systems. When training athletes, I take into account their age, skill level, lifestyle, medical history, and the varying cardiac systems used in their sport.

Personal Training

With over 10 years of experience in the athletic and fitness industry, I’ve seen all types of goals, fitness levels, and training modalities. Upon our first meeting, I take you through a quick (non-scary) health and movement assessment. From there we get one complementary session to ensure a good fit for the both of us- the more I see you move, the more I’ll know the effectiveness of different exercises for you. Keeping the goal of a seamless integration of wellness into our lives, personal training is offered in 3 different package sizes and 2 types of monthly memberships.

Adaptive Fitness

Wellness for all. I truly love working with special populations and am both humbled and inspired by all my clients. Physical fitness safely incorporated into your daily routine can be beneficial whether training for a sailing competition or just looking to increase strength and mobility in everyday life. I have experience working with chronic diseases and injuries such as Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord fractures,  Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, cancer survivors, amputees, cardiac patients, and stroke victims.

Fitness is not the a one size fits all and is defined differently by each  person.
Whether you’re a full time athlete, parent, student, or working full time, we can integrate health and wellness into your life safely and efficiently.
